To promote, establish, operate and/or support activities and projects within the community.

Venue Llambed – Victoria Hall, Lampeter would not exist without volunteers.

Whether you have existing specialist skills to bring to the community or want to try new things, we would love to hear from you. We can be as flexible as possible, whether a day a week or an hour once a month.

Our current roles for volunteering are with Llambed Development Trust, which could be anything from bag packing, bread sorting, and supermarket collections to deliveries and a drivers buddy. Other opportunities at Venue Llambed will change as Venue Llambed reopens following restrictions on the 19th of July, roles such as café/ kitchen, reception, admin, finance, marketing, meet and greet, gardening, and events and maintenance.

We are currently in extra need of volunteers for the following areas:

  • Events Organisation/Support
  • Press and Publicity
  • Youth Activities
  • General Activities
  • Cafe
  • Bar Volunteers
  • Community Garden
  • Young volunteers to assist with the Youth Activities
  • .

People volunteer for many different reasons. Some of our team do so to improve employability, and we are happy to provide plenty of individual help; others make friends, improve their confidence, and contribute to their community. Our volunteers are an essential part of our team and frequently comment on the social aspect of their involvement at the hall and enjoy getting to know new people.

In 2021 Venue Llambed signed up for Tempo Time credits. The Time credits model is a national project rewarding volunteers with the gift of a time credit that can be spent on various activities, college courses and social events or gifted out to those in need. To find out more information or sign up, use the form below; alternatively, email us at volunteer@vichall.org.uk or call on 01570-421-305 or pop in and speak to us; we’d be delighted to hear from you.
