To promote, establish, operate and/or support activities and projects within the community.

Llambed Development Trust has been awarded National Lottery funding to support the food project and our operating costs.

LDT has been awarded £9,000 from the National Lottery Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund(link is external) for our Food Project and operating costs. The funding will support the food project and operating costs for approximately 12 months.

Since the pandemic, hardship has continued to impact members of our community and surrounding areas significantly. During our weekly Food Project, we distribute free food to members of our community suffering from hardship; we hear from people who feel worn down and unsure of what government policies will help them.

Alongside this, people within the community continue to turn to us for assistance to make ends meet and relieve some pressure caused by the current climate. This funding will help us deliver our services and make some changes to make it easier for people who need support to find it.

We’re also looking to improve our volunteer programme and make it easier for you to volunteer and support the vital work we do to support the community.  Like many Trusts, Llambed Development Trust has too been impacted at a time when demand for our vital services continues to grow.

This funding from the National Lottery Community Support Fund will ensure we can continue to deliver vital support to our community which we know makes a difference to people affected.  We want to thank the National Lottery for this funding – it will make a huge difference.

LDT is requesting anyone who feels they may be able to assist in supporting this project by offering their time and assistance to create health and wellbeing classes &activities to please get in touch with us at info@vichall.org.uk
